Photography

Photography is more than just a job for me; it's a passion that fuels my creative eye. At Le Col, I've been hands-on in capturing lead campaign imagery, understanding how crucial visual storytelling is for a brand. From framing the perfect shot to ensuring the final image resonates with our audience, I've learned to blend technical skill with brand aesthetics. My experience art directing studio and lifestyle shoots has given me a 360-degree view of the photographic process, from initial ideas to the final selection. Beyond the professional realm, my personal interests in cycling, space, and the world around me constantly inspire my perspective behind the lens. I'm always looking for that unique angle to tell a compelling visual story.

SUB6

This series captures Le Col's dedication to ultra-performance, following athletes Colin O’Brady and Lucas Clarke as they broke the Race Across America world record. Images showcase their raw determination, alongside technical insights from wind tunnel testing and detailed kit fittings.

The Divisions

I captured London's indie rock quartet, The Divisions, during a dynamic studio session as they recorded their latest single. The images convey the band's diverse sound, drawing inspiration from Britpop, 00s indie, and 90s grunge, through candid moments of their creative process.

Gareth Winter 8848

This project documents Gareth Winter's grueling Le Col x Strava 8848m challenge, vividly portraying the sheer grit, exhaustion, and human emotion involved. Supporting images like empty food packets and muddy socks highlight the brutal reality and determination of pushing physical limits.

Le Col SS24

I captured pro riders pushing new Spring/Summer 2024 kit to its limits against the breathtaking landscapes of Gran Canaria. The photos depict riders' efforts in high temperatures, the vibrant new colour palette, and the joy of exploring new roads and challenging climbs.

The Lion of Flanders

This series follows cycling legend Johan Museeuw around a Paris-Roubaix route, celebrating his iconic career as 'The Lion of Flanders.' The images intimately explore his memorabilia, his revisit to the famous cobbled sections, and the symbolic post-race shower scene, conveying the speed and chaos of the classic races.

Le Col AW23

I documented Le Col's pro riders testing the Autumn/Winter cycling kit in the challenging Dolomites, capturing a range of emotions from effort to camaraderie in all weather conditions. Shot from the back of a van, these photos showcase the kit's performance and the riders' experience battling the elements.

Ride London Classique

As an accredited photographer, I captured the intense speed, raw effort, and strategic racing of the women's Ride London Classique around iconic London landmarks like The Mall. This access extended to candid moments within team buses, warm-ups, and on the podium.
