The Masketeers, is a guerrilla campaign to raise awareness and put a stop to the spreading of germs on London transport. London transport see’s a tremendous 1.37 billion passengers annually. During a study in 2016, there were 121 different types of bacteria found in and around TfL.
The aim was to take inspiration from the Chinese culture of wearing disposable masks. Focusing on the problem with the aesthetics of the masks, I have redesigned a new style of masks presenting 'british' humour. Using large stickers of masks and placing them over popular faces on TfL advertisements, masks will likely become a 'normal' sight.
